Dr. Theresa DeLorenzo, DCN, RD, is the Program Director for the Master of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance at Logan University, where she also leads the Master of Science in Applied Nutrition and Dietetics. A seasoned clinician and educator, Dr. DeLorenzo has been a Registered Dietitian since 2001 and holds a Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She serves as the team dietitian for USA Para Powerlifting and is the founder of Nutrition for Optimal Performance, where she works with athletes to optimize fueling strategies for training and competition.

With over a decade of experience in neonatal and pediatric clinical nutrition, Dr. DeLorenzo combines science-based expertise with a holistic approach to health. She is a certified yoga instructor and is currently pursuing certification in yoga therapy with a focus on body image and anxiety. A lifelong athlete herself -- having completed marathons and a 200-mile relay -- she brings a personal passion for movement and wellness into her work. When not working with clients or teaching, she enjoys running, practicing yoga, and experimenting with new recipes at her home in upstate New York with her two children.
